Yupe! I'm back . After not mapping for a while, and not having Source SDK, my skills are not that great and really never where. I am not just getting back into the mapping business, and hoping to stay . Dear Artinz.. my under water map is no longer in progress and is canceled. For the life of me, I could not manage to get it under water! Sorry .

Anyways, here is the first screen shot to provide for you:

I would like to expand the desert maybe. Don't worry about the lighting, I will make the jail more bright!

So...any suggestions/tips? Any suggestions on what textures I should use? Thanks :thumbup1:!

Now, it isn't finished but obviously other stuff will branch out of it. Here it is from close up, for the size comparing.

It may be a little too big, but I'll probably change that. Tell me what you thing !

cl_crosshairscale 5000 is what I use .

For anyone interested in the map, it will look better, I just haven't given the pics out heheh.

If you are going to make one of those famous discos everybody talks about, I could probably give you a few suggestions for the songs, unless you have already picked a few otherwise, i'm not experienced with cs or jail..

Thanks man . I will take suggestions when it comes to disco, but I don't want to work on it now, maybe near the end. Gotta get the main stuff done first !

- Armory is almost finished..need to add the weapons.
- Cell block is almost finished...need to add automated doors..can someone help me on that one?

Notha update! I got a random cell floating in the air...
Obviously I can't see it on sdk, am I compiling it wrong or something? Whenever I compile, it acts like it is about to crash, but it doesn't at the end.

*Update*
- Made the cells bigger
- Added a ct area that is along the walls (walkway)
- Added 2 double doors below the walkways
- Added a hallway in one of the doors, made bigger (CT's also have their on area where they can look down on the t's through glass.)
-The other door will lead to playground, outside climb, and a disco

Haven't checked the mapping forums in a while. From what I can see of your most recent screenies it's looking great so far. And as a random side note, I like the use of the brick texture in cell block. At first it seemed kind of random, but as I was looking I was noticing that it fit the desert theme and wasn't as out of place as I originally thought. Get meh more screenshots!

Which brick texture? I also mad the cell block cooler, in my opinion. I like the way it is shaping...and thanks !

- Finished maze
- Started on disco (Please give me song suggestions, I want to some hardcore raving going down!)

don't make a super big flat brush then a skybox as a start of your map. Your optimization will not end happily.
