Hey guys,

I just ordered parts for my new system (aka "Deep Thought") yesterday. Here are the details:

Btw - the guys here in these forums helped me pick out the parts - and for that I am humbly grateful! :)

I'll let you know about the results when I get it fired up. Thanks again!

Nice system! I was looking at the GD65, myself - it's a great board. Probably would have gone with it, but I got a crazy deal on a P8P67 Deluxe.

What GPU are you pairing it with? The CPU, at least, will definitely OC like a beast.

Nice rig! I have to comment on the Zalman cooler though, it's the only weak part of your build. For that price, you could have gotten a Prolimatech Megahalems or a TRUE. You could probably return it to Newegg for a small fee and get something better, if you so choose.

I noticed there was no video card or OS listed, do you already have those items?

Okay, good to know about the cooler. Yes, I already have a Radeon 5700 and Windows 7 Pro.

A good CPU cooler would have been a Cooler Master Hyper 212+. Easily a better cooler, and it's $15 cheaper.

Otherwise, very nice build. You're going to love that case too. My fiance has one, and I wish I had one.

How huge? I'm using an HAF 932, had an Antec P180, and an Apevia MX-Pleasure, all towers.

Side note: If you're in college, in need of a workout, carry a full tower PC up 8 flights of stairs. Feel the burn!

Been used to mid-towers my whole life, so this thing looks like a monster compared to my current Ammo 533. Also, nice idea re: tower workout - I'll have to try that sometime. :)

I can see it now, Believer.

The Tower Workout! Carry a tower UP a tower!

(Warning: Anything taller than the Eiffel Tower may result in a stroke.)
