3rd SS Division Totenkopf
The SS Division Totenkopf ("Death's Head" or "Skull"), was one of the 38 divisions fielded by the Waffen-SS during World War II.
The division is famous due to its insignia and the fact that most of the initial enlisted soldiers were SS-Totenkopfverb?nde (SS concentration camp guards).
They fought in Belgium and France in 1940 up against Anglo-French forces came close to defeat. The unit also took part in Operation Barbarossa.
The Totenkopf Division was filled with terrible people who committed many war crimes... But by the end of 1941 the entire unit had sustained such losses that no original members survived.
From fierce front lines mired in mud and blood to the rowdiest bars and obscure corners of eGO forums this new blood will plunder Europe and make it our new back yard.
...and then the world.
