Hey, so I play Minecraft alot, and I am starting to play Counter strike alot more, and I wanna be a better CSS player. I heard people will kinda teach you to be better and stuff, so PM me if you wanna help me
People should post their techniques on how to play pro since I m terrible and I wanna learn too. Things like how to strafe and shoot, when to prefire, how to suppress recoil. And any other odd tidbits that make someone good at cs.
Strafe when you know someones around a wall... Prefire when you think someones around a corner. Balance your sensitivity to suppress recoil. And be aware to be good.
Practice make's perfect. Also, TRY bots. It is a V E R Y nifty tool. Try playing on Normal, then, Hard, then Expert. Good luck and see you in-game! Also, yeah, don't play Jail
Honestly a lot of the things that the good players do are things you pick up out of habit from playing a lot such as where the other team likes to hide. Just keep playing and you'll get better.
1. Try playing some deathmatch servers. I helps you get use to your shot (Go with and M4 or AK) because you are constantly playing and don't have to wait for the rounds to end. I always go to a deathmatch server to warm up.
2. USE A HEAD SET!!(or headphones) CS:S is a pretty realistic game and you can hear footsteps pretty easily. It helps you to know when there is someone running down a hallway or something so you can anticipate them rounding a corner.
3. On that note, learn to use Shift Walk. It silences your footsteps which gives you the element of surprise over the guys carelessly running around.
4. Always keep you crosshair at head level. While walking around I constantly make sure that my crosshair is at head level so when I round a corner I can quickly pop a guy in the head.
5. The only other thing I can say is rack up that play time. Learn what people usually do on different maps.
I can help you with wardening since im pro, but with combat theres nothing i can do cause i fail at shooting. Lets meet up in Minecraft Vent channels sometime
this makes you better
but on a side note if you want to get better get used to your sensitivity and use that on deathmatch servers, play with out a crosshair, and you would think this is a bad idea but play with people who are better than you...
at welcometotown's help
1. cant argue
2. yes, but if you are deathmatching dont use sound
3. eh idk about this, it tends to make you an easy target, maybe when its a 1v1 situation here.
4. true, but the deagle should be more close to neck level
5. not just play time but map time, say you have 1k hours of play on only d2.. yea thats nice, but you wont be able to know stuff on other maps
