Ok here is my problem and the typical fixes that Ive done that HAVENT worked.

My Normal Comp Temps:

Ambient: 76f
cpu1: 76f
cpu2: 77f
gpu: 80f

My current temps

Ambient: 77f
cpu1: 78f
cpu2: 78f
gpu: 104f (note 20 degree change)(house temp at time of reading 60degrees)

starting back about 3 weeks ago my gpu temps jumped 20 degrees and as high as 30. I went threw and blew out my tower, and checked all my fans, their speeds and the heat sinks. everything is clean and functioning properly. I am at a loss here. There is honestly no reason why my GPU temps should be this high. Also not sure if this is related, but at around the same time and its only while im playing World of Tanks, on some maps the buildings wont render until im almost next to them. My in game graphics are maxed out and my gpu is maxed out as well. if anyone has some ideas please let me know.

What's your vid card?

It only happens while you play World of Tanks? And started three weeks ago? (I'm assuming you played world of tanks prior, and didn't have that issue?)

You SURE the fan(s) on your vid card is working?

What happens if you turn the game settings down? Does it still over heat?

Did you update drivers? I've been having problems with the newer drivers causing a temperature rise (and crashes) as well as unknown artifacts that just show up out of no where.. bummer. I had to revert back to the older drivers to get anywhere.

Are these idle temps, or in game temps? Cause 104F isn't that hot if it's gaming temps. My 5850's can get as hot as 180F+ under hard gaming, and thats with automatic fan controls on (which means it usually runs the fans somewhere between 30%-60%) in a 75 degree room.

Your underestimating how hot hardware can get. 78f = 25c which is pretty cold as far as hardware gets and only 40c for graphics. It's great idle temps, even better if gaming. Nothing is wrong here. It takes almost 158f to kill your cpu and much more to kill your gpu. The jump in temps can be from a number of factors including the weather etc. Not really to be worried about until it gets dangerous.
