Almost Broke another bone

Almost broke my leg mowing the lawn today. slipped on some wet grass, leg gave out went down hard on it. Felt and heard something pop. Thankfully its was just dislocated. Hurt like a Sob though... Now I can barley move it >_>
 
That somewhat sounds like you have bad luck... Slipping on grass and then dislocating a bone.
 
You're lucky, I had a buddy that was playing frisbee with a younger relative & he slipped on wet grass & destroyed his ankle. He ended up having to have surgery on it 3-4 times & the last time they had to put pins & screws in it.
 
I broke my hand in February and my fingers are still stiff. It concerns me greatly. And it hurts.
 
Its kinda busted. had it looked at this morning. Torn ligament, cracked (not fully broken) patella, and bruised tibia... All from mowing the lawn. :(

Got lucky in a way, because its not bad enough to warrant a cast, just a splint and a knee brace.

EDIT: Also, Doc's orders to not move at all today, So I have a jug of iced tea and I'll be plopped in front of my Pc all day :D

That's why I refuse to mow my lawn. Let nature take it course, no need for anyone to get hurt. lol When my neighbors come over and ask why I'm not mowing my yard this year I'll tell them your story. >;O)
 
That sucks man! You never know when it's going to happen, so it's all about being a little carefull. I played soccer for like 7 months ago, and I almost broke my ankle actually.. it was the weirdest situation aswell ;s
