I just noticed it stands for 5th of may.

I was caught asking when this holiday was a few years ago. Luckily I had a friend with me who slapped me with a Flauta and cursed in Spanish about how I suck. (he was born in Mexico)

Cinco (5th) de (of?) Mayo (May)

I always get a laugh out of that because I have worked around people who spoke Spanish for years.


"I speak redneck, not Spanish" was my only defense.
