Interest in Guild Wars 2?

So, I have become VERY interested in Guild Wars 2. I have never played the original Guild Wars but that's not really the point is it? lol.

This post and poll is to gauge the interest we have for Guild Wars 2 in the community. If there is enough interest, there could POSSIBLY be a new division for it.

So post whether you'd be interested in play Guild Wars 2 and let other people know about this poll so they can let me and council know they are interested as well.

Totally, 100%, no questions asked going to get this game. I've been waiting FAR TOO LONG to not get it. Arena Net did an amazing job and still do a great job with Guild Wars and keeping it fun to play. From what I have seen, Guild Wars 2 will be no different. Super excited for this release. They did say beta test some time this year. 2011 has flown by so far. I'm excited!

I almost never pre-order games because I'm usually skeptical on how the game will play out. However I'm making an exception for GW2, the original Guild Wars was outstanding and from what I've seen and heard of GW2 I'm sold on getting it.

I would also like to add that, unlike other free to play games, Guild Wars 2 will follow the same strategy used in Guild Wars. Meaning, there will be other "content" you can purchase through a store, but it WILL NOT effect the game play, such as costumes for special events. You will not have to purchase that super elite sword from the store using your hard earned cash, you can find it in game.

If you played the original Guild Wars, there is some special content (for Guild Wars 2) that you may have been able to unlock in game through earning titles. You can see all the info here on the Hall of Monuments page.
EDIT: If this content reflects the same bonus content from the original, these weapons and armor will most likely only differ by way of having a unique skin. Weapon damage, armor, and weapon mods will be the same as others in the game.
