So, Mother's day is coming up, and... What are you going to do with your Mother Or Wife. Are you going to take your kids out somewhere, and leave your wife alone, or you going to give your mother (or wife) flowers and a card? Here is one thing that none of you should say on mother's day (except if your mother is dead:.() "Im going to sit on my butt and play video games all day", you know how much your Mother (or wife) does for YOU? she cleans the house, she takes care of the kids when you need them, she cleans up after you, and for crying out loud, SHE MADE YOU HAPPEN, and she didn't abandon you. So if you just give her a simple card, that says happy mother's day, and a flower, or you give her a brand new car, all that matters is you giving thanks to your mother or wife, of what she's done.

On a more serious note, my mother is completely lame and fails as a parent (as you can see) so she will receive nothing.
 
i bought my mom a present together with my father
and my sister + little sister theire birthday is the next 2 days (monday + tuesday)
so i bought them crossaints with strawberries
and some other gifts

our code of conduct for in-game behavior applies to the forums as well, please be respectful to all people that choose to reply.

It's great that you are excited for Mother's day, but you need to understand that not everyone is 12 and not everyone has had the best relationship with their parents. Plus Mother's day is fairly well recognized all over the place, so it's not like anyone is going to miss it.

You have to be careful when making threads like this because they walk a fine line along getting into our personal lives...which is better done elsewhere. Either way though, keep it respectful.

That is a terrible thing to say! Not everybody's parents are good, from what I can tell you are fortunate enough to have decent parents. If you didn't I presume you would be the same as Tension and once you grow up a little more you may understand things better.

I agree that parents should be loved but sometimes this is not the case.

Haha. All these victim children of accidental teenage pregnancies with parents who aren't smart enough to know what's good for them...perfect role models! Let's celebrate :thumbup:

However, I get that you're appreciating your mother, and that's great. But not all of us have good parents like you seem to have. I don't believe in unconditionally loving someone.

I'll have a much more positive response to your Father's day post, though. My Dad is awesome.
 
Me and my mother are not very compatible.. so.. no go on that. We have a long history which doesn't belong on the forums so I will refrain from posting any of that.

I'm going to be alone today.. so... I'm probably going to hang out with my eGO friends n play some BC2 as my mother's day treat ^.^ :D

Guys This thread is about giving thanks to the people that brought us into this world.
Every one has different opinions on it and those that didn't want to give thanks and take part in the good will of the topic shouldn't have posted.
And it has been said we expect you guys to treat each other with respect while here. some of the comments here shouldn't have been made as they were disrespectful and hurtful to others.
Please refrain from disrespecting each other and others parents or the thread will be closed and removed.
