Unfortunantley, I've got to have surgery in both of my arms.

My ulnar nerve has been compressed, and I have sever ulnar neuropathy. I'm told that because I am 17, it's semi rare for me to have it.

The doc said it's bad enough I need surgery soon. My left arm will be operated on this Wednesday, then in 7-9 weeks, My right arm.

My arms will be in cast after each is done, and I will be unable to play DOD:S :(

I signed up for the realism campaign, but, I had no idea at the time.

Please dont consider me afk/off the map, I will do my best in the period of 2-3 months to check in on the website, and attend important meetings, I just wont be able to play in game.

Man, that sucks. Take your time and rest. Looking forward to seeing you come back healthy and well. ;)

Yeah real life always comes first. We'll still be here when you come back. Rest those arms so they are in tip top shape when you come back so you can get right back to fragging.

Ah man... in life, timing is everything.

First things first is always real life. Take care, recover and whichever team you're drafted into, I'm sure they'll wish you were on the battlefield and can still share the victory with them :)

Thank you so much guys, It means a lot to me.

I'd much rather be realisming :(

Best wishes and hope things go smoothly. Speedy recovery and rest easy!!! DOD:S will be here when you get back!

Take care man, you'll come through this better than ever and put me to shame even more on anzio. Look forward to seeing you when you come back.

Hope you will go through surgery safely and survive at least a week without DoD:S! My prayers will be with you!

I hope everything goes well for you Shane. Stormy has a great idea below.

Good luck and if youve never been under the knife; theres nothing much to worry about. I know what thats like. Pro tip from my shoulder surgery: buy an Xbox 360 wired controller and use it on your PC for directional controls etc. I was able to play all of my games hours after my surgery.

Man that sucks I hope you recover fast. I need you to keep me in line during realism;)

sorry to hear that man, hope you get well soon and we will be here to welcome you back once you feel up to fragging. :)
