Hope everyone who prepurchased brink on steam is doing the preload now before the huge hit on the steam servers tuesday.

God I cant wait for brink. Just 2 days. Gonna be the longest 2 days of my life.
 
Hey, shall we compile a list of eGO players getting Brink so we can party up? Might as well since we all from the same community.

I'm 'thinking' of getting this on Steam.
Oh and i found a 720p Xbox Brink over 1hr long.

Everyone in the vid seems to be playing rather poorly :P but it is a rather new game.
Seems to have potential to be pretty fun tho. I can imagine the PC version will be more intense and will have a nice graphical upgrade *all fingers crossed* Pls do pls do so i can be like \(^o^)/

Somewhere from 10:00 to 16:00min in shows ALOT of the menu options/customizations/etc.

A FPS with:

- Parkour
- Deep, class based gameplay
- Colorful visuals, not the average brown and bloom we've been getting for a while now
- Made by Splash Damage, the guys who made Wolf: ET
- Harder focus on objective-based gameplay
 
Dear Steam, Id like my $49 back for the worst game ever designed by Bethesda Studios.:thumbdown:
 
To all those that are interested in Brink , just note that it is a niche game really geared towards PC users and competitive gaming. It's not so great for people who play casually or have no pseudo-competitive blood in them.
 
I'm somewhat shocked of the rating given by IGN. I would have expected more from Bethesda, and the potential Brink seemed to have. Does anyone who bought have any comments?

graphics are horrible, like an alpha or beta version of borderlands

Im not sure about the "competitive gaming" comment since i didnt feel very competitive playing it, but its definitely a team based coop for sure.

overall Id give it a 4 or 5. ill be sticking with TF2 and Black Ops until BF3 comes out

I don't bother looking at game reviews that much any more because of the fact that most of the authors/outfits (such as IGN, g4tv, etc) prefer one specific game or company and give bad reviews to their competitors, or the author truly doesn't care about said game and throws a review out with their opinions from a few minutes of game play

What are you talking about? Yeah the graphics aren't anything like Mass Effect 2 for example, but they far exceed that of borderlands. The only thing I see in common between the graphic style of Brink and Borderlands is the gritty look most of the things are given. Also, that review is horrible. Just from the way it was written I got the impression that the author was a typical CoD player who finds kdr to be the only important part of the game play.

That isn't what brink is about, you use teamwork to win and survive none of that (usually agitating and pointless) lone wolf garbage. I could go on for a long time about how horrid that review was but I do not feel like going on a rant currently. Anyways, I suggest checking out this video for a peak at game play and a much less biased review of Brink.

If you are into games like battlefield, tf2 & halo then I suggest giving this game a try
