So abit while ago I had 1 of 2 video cards crap out on me. 2nd video card no longer works in SLi mode as it tends to crash everything it tries to render. I also recently converted from XP to W7. Now I don't know the exact problem but it seems that my screen res ratio is been acting somewhat wonky lately.
I have a 16:10 22 inch monitor, previously was using a 42 inch HD TV which unfortunately the lamp decided to pull a jihad and blow itself up. Any game I run on either 16:9 or 16:10 ratio no longer gives a full screen, instead there are 2 black bars that were never there before regardless of which ratio I chose.
Even with games that I have had on 16:9 ratio was always a perfect full screen with no black bars. Now regardless of what resolution I have it unless its the native res every res option I pick gives me black bars with an outstretched picture.
I'm not sure if the problem is with W7 or with the change in the SLi that recently happened. I'm not sure if its my drivers either. Any tips or help?
