I need a new one. I don't need top of the line, but something comparable to my 8800GT. Any advice?

The best card for the money would probably be the HD 6950 1GB. If you prefer Nvidia, you can get a GTX 560 but it won't be quite as good as the 6950. Either way, both of these cards are much more powerful than an 8800 GT, I'm not sure why you'd want something comparable..

Keep in mind both of these video cards use up to ~200W, so make sure your power supply can handle the additional load if you decide to upgrade.

I have A 600w power supply. And it can be a better card, but I don't want to spend more than $250 on it.

You might also want to make sure your mobo/tower can fit a $250 video card, too.

Most video cards north of $100 are pretty big. :scared:

A 6950 pulls 200W under maximum load, so you should be good to go with that. The cheapest 6950's can be had for around $240 on Newegg, and a few of them have mail-in rebates. What resolution are you planning on using?
