i did not get my CB key, so im really looking forward to this :P
And erm... any eGO members already playing? if you are, please leave your

Gamersfirst announced the open beta launch date of APB Reloaded. Set to go live on May 18th APB Reloaded was originally a retail game with an optional subscription, and now is being relaunched as a free to play title.

APB Reloaded is a free to play massively multiplayer online (MMO) third-person shooter game based in the modern-day fictional city of San Paro featuring two factions, Enforcers and Criminals. Players can join either faction, and then form their own customized team and group to join the constant battle across the urban landscape.

There are still a few important features that are not yet in the game (new skill rating system probably the most critical and skill-based district segmentation and progression), and various tweaks to spawning but those will be added as we move along, and likely some of the new ones will be there before Open Beta.

well i would be stoked, but considering this game isn't worth playing atm i wouldn't be too stoked. make sure you have a very good CPU and lots of ram.

Just a Core 2 Duo and 2GB of RAM to run it. Not like its bad or anything.

I'd say at least 2.5gb of ram, depending on the speed. I've been having trouble playing the game, since my ram is being overtaxed loading areas. Plus its old :(

what is your core speed? cause if its lower than 3GHz then good luck running it, i have a quad core 3.2GHz CPU and 3 gigs of ram and the FPS gets down to like 20, real pain.

game performance is more than just your cpu/ram

i've played a bit in the ending parts of the closed beta but meh...it was pretty fun and it played well but there are just some things that urk me. i'll try it again in a little while but probably not right when they release, i'll give em a few more patches

That's strange, my quad core 2.67 GHz CPU and 4 gigs RAM runs the game perfectly. Maybe it's a network problem?
 
I hate stores. I don't like being raped cause person X has more $$$ and can waste $40 on uber item x.
 
That's why an early form of a good matchmaking system was implemented, and will be completely finished by release.
