Is eGO thinking of making a Terraria server? its coming out tomorrow for 10 dollars on steam. heres a link to the website http://www.terraria.org/ it does have the trailer of the game. It was told to be a Maple Story + Minecraft = Terraria.

I don't think we'll be getting a Terraria server.

However, you're always able to put a request for one in the dropbox.

If there is enough interest in the game, it could be a possibility.

Please remember guys all servers cost money and ego has limited funds, if every member donated then ego may be able to introduce new servers, even just a small donation helps.

I was just reading about it and it starts to lag with a certain program no money needed but it starts to lag over 5 plays meaning 6 players on server lag issues..

Minecraft was bad enough, But why do we have about 3 games which have just copied the idea? Its just bad.

You guys are all hating on a game that you have never even played before. Why be so naive? Terraria, in my opinion, is definitely a great game. It is definitely worth the 10$ spent. If you don't like the game, you don't like it. Simple as that.

I never thought i'd like this game but it's amazingly addictive. Sure once you get everything it can drag out but it's still being updated. eGO should def get a server.

I'll be running a server(starting it up on request whenever I am online), from the end of next week through the summer.

Just contact me on Steam if you want the server up. I'll make a thread if enough people get interested where I will put up information of new maps (old maps will still be playable whenever you want) and discussion of the server and so on.

its just a matter of opinion, if you like it you like it, if you dont you dont...

i have the game and i find it great fun. loads of things to do and they developing new stuff aswell.

servers dont really lag unless hosted on someones crappy pc.
my server, which i host on my computer, tends to lag when im downloading music or a movie but else its fine.

also, you can download the server software from their site for free.

i like the game and IMO, its worth the $10.
