yea, i wasnt bad for like the first 2 hours after, its starting to get painful now, but i cant take any painkillers until i get food, and im not allowed to eat any food until the numbing wears off, which takes 4-5 hours
My dentist gave me 3 days worth of Vicodin when I got mine out. Anyway, you won't want to eat for 24hrs or so. Start with soup or jello when you get hungry.
It actually differs for different people. My brother was passed out all the time and in a bunch of pain, i just took an ibuprofen i think, or some kind of pill and ive been ok so far just a little soreness. ive had some mac & cheese, soup, applesauce, and a piece of bread, its not too bad, and im starting pain meds in a half hour, so i should be even better. The worst thing about it was right after, i couldnt get my bottom two stitches to stop bleeding for about 3 hours, not fun.
My stitches fell out early and my mouth got infected, i was on vicodin and unable to talk for several days and eating was pretty much impossible
You seem to be doing Golden
im too afraid to feel around my stitches, in case that does happen, so i pretty much wont know when they fall out. although i did sneeze last night, and that hurt like a mother
Jello/Smoothie (really runny) -> soup (start with potato where the potatoes are chopped up in to squares about a dime size, some store bought "just add water/milk"), then move on up to things you can use your front teeth for, etc.
By now I assume you're on the pain meds, which means...
Potentially delayed reaction time?
=D Hopefully I'll end up on the opposite team of you
Personally: I didn't know for three days that you aren't supposed to operate machinery (aka drive) while you're on the meds... but I already had driven on night two. And the reaction time thing didn't happen for me... I won 4 straight ranked matches in League of Legends my first night on the meds haha
