Hey guys. I want to make a little bit of extra money, so I've decided that I want to advertise my Web development services on craigslist. I need a little help on deciding what to put in my ad, though.

I suck at design. Layout and formats. Stuff like that. (I do everything in HTML and CSS - no Flash whatsoever.) Here are some pictures of what I've done:
R&L Home Inspections - free-form myself, not finished
Draft of my aunt's friend's Pilates website - free-form myself, not finished

As you can see, my designs aren't very professional-looking (at least, I don't think they are). I'd love it if I could make websites like this, or this. But I'm not too good at that. I'm a web developer, not a web designer.

I consider myself to have extensive knowledge of PHP and MySQL, as well as working with JavaScript and jQuery. I'm better at creating back-end systems than designing pages. I'm currently working on an image board that is going very well, actually - I have a working registration and login system, the ability to upload images, and automatically-generated thumbnails. I will soon be adding the ability to thumb-up/thumb-down images and the ability to tag and search for images.

Here are a couple of pictures of what I have. The majority of the work I've done is in PHP and MySQL.
Main page of all uploaded images and viewing a single image.

Anyways, what should I put in my ad that best describes what I can do? I'm happy to make basic page designs like the ones I provided, using HTML and CSS, but I much prefer to create things in PHP and MySQL.

I'm thinking about charging a base price of $10 for the entire site, plus $3 for each hour that I work. I'd kind of like to only charge clients if they actually like and decide to use what I create, but I'm not sure that that's a good business plan.

Well, I feel like I rambled on quite a bit here, but yeah, I'm done. Any ideas are appreciated!

Thanks!
