Fable III Opinions

I loved it and have beaten it multiple times, however I have been a fable fanboy since I first got my original xbox (fable was one of the 1st games I got) back before I even started internet gaming. Heck, I even paid extra for the collectors edition =p.

Reading about this game, I kinda get the impression that a lot of the rage directed towards Fable III isn't so much 'this is a bad game' - it's more of a 'Peter Molysomething lied about what this game was going to be like' rage.

That's fine, I understand the grief associated with thinking you're buying one thing and actually being served something else; I mean, if I went into a Taco Bell and ordered a Super Supreme Taco and they brought me a Whopper I'd be upset, too.

BUT WHOPPERS ARE DELICIOUS!
Well I've started to play it and have to say I have some issues with the fighting system, the UI, and the button layout. I feel like all that "work" they put into it to make it not a console port kinda failed. I still am enjoying it though.

Just finished. I had hatched a scheme to get all the money I needed for the end, only to accidentally advance the plot too far and have it not work at all. Hope that doesn't spoil too much, but if you beat the game you know what I'm talking about.

Oh well. Again, it felt very linear and possibly even shorter than Fable II but I forgot how much I enjoy the writing and personalities given to the characters. Reaver cracked me up.

I rushed through in the name of beating the game, not wanting to take my time and enjoy side stuff because I did that tons in Fable II. Maybe I'll go back through it and enjoy myself next time?

In conclusion, even though it was linear and short it ended up being more fun than I thought it would be. It feels very much like what Fable II should have been and I don't suppose I'll complain about that too much.

That sounds exactly like what Yahtzee did.
