Ventrilo - Can't hear speech.

Hey guys,
I recently had a reformat done on my computer so I can play BC2 again, I re-installed ventrilo and I can hear everything else in ventrilo except people's speech, I can't remember the settings I have to change because it's been so long since i've done this.

Please help!
