Assorted HD Space Wallpapers (More Added)

So I was bored, I was messing around in Photoshop working on some wallpapers. I've been trying to further develop my skills using Photoshop. I really enjoy anything relevant to space, there are no limits as to what you can create. I'll probably add more as I create them. I made these with a combination of previous knowledge and my good friend, the internet. Feel free to use them if you wish to do so. Constructive criticism is encouraged and appreciated.

That was sort of a reoccurring trend. :P It provides an opportunity to add various colours to the image to make it more vibrant and interesting. Space is pitch black, which isn't too interesting. However, the design of the third one strayed a little bit away from the first two. It was a different approach, I'm actually quite happy with how the 3rd one turned out.

Haha, but in-case the question was actually meant seriously:


  1. Clouds (make sure foreground and background are Black and White respectively)
  2. Twirl the image a few times, once or twice should do.
  3. Add some Noise
  4. Erase the center of the twirl with a soft brush
  5. Select the clouds image and drag the top down to make the image thin
  6. Change the Hue/Colour to the desired colour
  7. Place rings and erase parts overlapping the planet
 
The others are pretty cool too, however the planet on the second one seems a little flat and it looks just like a circle. I think you should make it blend a little more.

If you send me the psd I can play around with it ;)

Yeah, I've noticed that aswell. I was thinking about adding a soft light blue inner glow, mimicking an atmosphere of a planet. Eh, it's all experimental. Thanks Darth. ;)
