What music do you like?

[imported_sharpshooter]

i dont really listen music that much

[Shadow12345678]

i'll listen to anything but most techno and country. what i normally listen to is rock: metallica, godsmack, breaking benjamin, chevelle, trapt; alternative rock is my thing but i can get into alot of other types of music too.

[U.S. Polo Assassin]

Im all for rock and techno but rap is NOT (Retards Attempting Poetry.) Its the way to channel the troubles and hardships the artists went through in their lives. This is not true for all rap artists but it is for the best ones: Eminem, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Lil wayne, N.W.A., Snoop Dogg, Nas, Jay-Z, Ice Cube, Method Man, Busta Rhymes, Dr. Dre, etc...
And it is a form of poetry. Just because its not about a "tuft of flowers" or the "Leaves of Grass" doesnt mean that its not poetry. Its about the emotions that it instills into the listener or reader that counts.

As for rock I like aerosmith, bon jovi, red hot chili peppers, guns n roses, van halen, metallica, AC/DC, the eagles, black sabbath, pantera, the eagles, led zepplin, rolling stones, jimi hendrix, queen, pink floyd, grateful dead, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, U2, and KISS.

[Booster37]

I really don't have favorite "Artists". Just favorite songs. I try not to stay connected to them, as I've had disappointments with a few select albums or songs from about every single one of my near favs.

[!Woodstock!]

Techno, country, Gothic metal, symphonic metal.

[Tattis]

I could probably just repeat with CroutonsofDeath posted. I gravitate towards music from the 50s-70s, but I'll listen to pretty much anything. The things I'd place lowest on my list would likely be rap and country, but I still find songs I like from that genre from time to time. I also tend to find music from the 80s to be particularly horrid.

And man, do I definitely agree about music with people screaming. Can't stand it. Screaming does not equal singing.

[Section-9]

Well to name a few...

ASG
The Birthday Massacre
Incubus
Cake
Muse
Placebo
Interpol
Radiohead
Rush
Haste the Day
Vanna
Parkway Drive
