what is the best gaming mouse to get

well my mouse finally gave up and it was a cruddy laser mouse. so i want to go all out. i was looking at the r.a.t 7 looks cool but is it worth it. if not what is a good gaming mouse? and also this is off topic but i need a wifi card any suggestions on that as well?

It's mostly preference for the mouse.

Do you use the claw grip, or the palm grip? Do you want speed or do you want control?

I personally like the following brands for mice:

It plugs in through a USB Port, so don't worry about having to open up your computer to install it. Just plug it in, and pop the CD in the drive and install the drivers and it should work.

It's 98% an issue of personal preference when looking at gaming mice...my favorite is the Razer Deathadder.

The only advice I would give is to stay away from mice with the Phillips Twin-Eye Laser Sensor. It is crap.

tl;dnr - you could ask ten people about gaming mice and get ten different opinions on what the 'best' mouse is. Every mouse is a little different. You need to decide what you want out of your mouse, then look for something that satisfies than need.

If you like the 'claw' grip, isn't that where you curl your fingers on the front of the mouse? So something flat-ish and maybe a little wide on the front. Maybe look at the Razer Lacheise.

I'd go with the RAT7, because it's good for claw and you can adjust the width/length.

well i have made a decision on the mouse. i am going to get the r.a.t. 7 AND the death adder due to the fact my girl friend got me a new mouse and did not tell. it was the r.a.t. 7 and i have already ordered the death adder and i am not able to cancel the shipment for some odd reason
