Hello BC 2 Troops

I like take this time to say and ask please take a moment in your daily activity to remember the ones that lost their friends and families over this weekend in the devastation of tornado Alley.

"Cherish the ones you love and Cherish the moments you are with them, because in a instance they can be gone"

I honestly didn't know it was that bad. I heard something about a tornado in Missouri, but not to that extent. I'll be keeping them as well as those folks in Alabama in my prayers. Tornados are quick, they come in an instant and without any warning. They can estimate where the tornado might appear, but by the time it does its already at your front door.

Yeah :( and sad part about this is parts of Tennessee going take another round this week.
My family and I are leaving out for New York today, I pray we don't come back at the end of this week to devastation of our house :(

Wow that is scary. I feel terrible about the hospital cause there are people in there who had no chance of getting somewhere safer. I hope the search and rescue goes well.

Scary... 90 minutes away from where I live, and Joplin is almost completely flattened... goodness.

I heard news this morning while I driving to NY that the Joplin MO death count up to 116 people now and could be more. They say it was EF4

I heard them say it was something like 1 mile in width. Joplin Mo is about a 5 hour drive away from me. That storm hit us hard but not that hard. We had ping pong sized hail.

Ping pong sized?!?!?! That's crazy!
 
The National Weather Service has now upgraded the Joplin MS tornado from an EF4 tornado to an EF5. This makes the most EF5 tornadoes in a single season. As KD25 said Oklahoma is getting hammered right now, they're under a PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) Tornado watch. Expect these storms to continue to slide east through the evening hours, and to those of you in Western Arkansas and Missouri keep an eye out!
 
I just got a text a couple minutes ago from our member -Fake that his house was hit by a tornado. Everyone's okay, but the house isn't doing so hot from the sound of it. The effects of these tornados are widespread and effect many of us, even those from other parts of the country.

Thoughts and prayers are with him, his family, and his friends.

They just corrected themselves, it was an EF5 now... close to half a mile in diameter
 
My Family and I made it to New York late last night. We travel through some damage areas while we was on the road. We are going to stay with my wife family for a week then travel back home.
@fake my friend our thoughts and prayers are with you troop, your family,your neighbors and friends.
Now is the time we as a nation, a world need to reach down deep and put aside our difference and help each other in this time of destruction happening around the globe .
We are brothers, we are sisters, we are mothers, and fathers we are human. Life is a gift, this planet we live on is a gift. We humans may think we are the boss; but mother nature has to give us a kick now and then to remind us who is the real boss.

My friend, ping pong sized hail although dangerous, is not all that big. Yes I see the weather going on all over the states, and it's affecting Texas as well(Texas is in a major drought and wildfires can start in an instant.) I've been keeping these people in my thoughts and prayers for the past oh 4 months now. And honostly Texas really needs some rain. Anyways i hope these people have a chance to recover and i'll keep them in my thoughts and prayers. You too Kentucky I pray that when you get back to your house that it is not damaged in anyway.

Tornadoes touched down up here in New England. Got some cell phone video footage of golf ball-sized hail. Some crazy weather this year!
