Patch Preview

Changes look... interesting?

Perhaps Irelia will no longer be complained about by the masses.

I think I'll buy Kog'Maw now, my build was focused around magic pen,
attack speed & bloodrazors, it was great before this change.

EDIT:
I sure hope the multiple mastery pages fixes that mastery bug people kept
having problems with in champion select.

Bought Kog'maw a couple weeks ago and been playing him quite often...am loving the changes they mentioned for him.

Oh and YAY for multiple mastery pages...finally!

I'm really going to enjoy these balance changes I think. Alistar was just a problem to deal with since his update, as well as Vayne in the laning phase.

Plus, mastery pages? I'm very appreciative of this.

Since they haven't posted a skin preview yet...

Yay a nice skin to go with my newly buffed annie. Vayne nerf is definitely going to hurt her early harass. Not really sure what the rune pages thing is though.

Irelia needed a nerf? She used to be my main character, until they kept nerfing her.. I can't play her anymore because of it. Early game, she sucks, compared to Tryn, Xin, or someone of the sort. She used to be as GOOD as them, but not anymore. Her ult is what allowed her to win a team fight against players while having minions nearby. It's the same as swain.

Alistar needed the nerf.

Glad to see Kogmaw is better now :D

Never liked annie. But we'll see how the changes are.

Why nerf vlad's transfusion? He was OP a couple of months ago, and yet he is still getting nerfed. White tiger isn't going to like this..

I don't think they really needed to nerf Vayne's e. I like the changes to everything else really, except Vlad did not need to be nerfed.

Mastery pages. Basically, in champ setup, you could name rune pages and switch to them. Now you can do the same thing with mastery pages, up to 10 of them.

No, she needed a nerf, badly. Silver bolts, sheen, and her tumble allowed for easy crazy amounts of damage at early levels.

So, anyone else think this Kog'Maw buff was really unnecessary?

Nope, just you. Kog'Maw is the only ranged carry in the game without an escape move. Even Miss Fortune has her passive to escape from melee before they hit her.

Annie's buff was way more unnecessary than Kog's.

Really? I have played over a hundred games of Annie, I can tell you it is definitely needed. She now has a bit less burst at level six but scales much better into late game instead of just become a stunbot. The only reason you picked Annie over other casters was early game domination, and with casters that came out like Malzahar, Cassiopeia, Brand etc. she lost that niche. She suffered from power creep and is now back to where she should be.

I said just her e...

Her e is fine. It's the W as true damage which is really overpowered.
That, and Tumble + sheen = Hey look, that's 1/4 my hp. That's when you're NOT fed. Being fed, that's half of your hp with tumble being a 3 second cooldown, if that.

Really..? I could never play Annie to begin with early game T-T But I agree with you on the other casters being better late game.
