Steam typing backwads

I have had this issue for a while and was wondering of anyone knew how to fix it. i'll be playing a game (usually DOD:S or TF2) and IMing and ill start typing everything backwards. It does the same with in-game chat to lol. The only way to fix it for me is to alt tab, send the message out of game, then it works for a while. Mostly just an inconvenience. Has anyone had this problem? If so anyone know how to fix it? Google hasn't helped.

It goes away after a while. I've never actually known how.. just that it disappears.

Just shift tab a few times and click where you type. when your button where you type moves. Then it's fine again.

I think it still deserves to be in the tech help, I pay them everytime they fix something

usually when I type backwards it is completely intentional.

You can just click the end of the sentence and it will fix itself.

I fix it by closing the chat window(s) and re-opening them.
