Summer Anime 2008 Info and Otaku Discussions (Anime, Manga, Games, Model Kits, etc.)

Lekk: Kanokon is adorable and lovable. Well, at least, that is how I see it. The characters are cute, they are just put into perverted situations. It could be more lovey dovey but turns out to be perverted. Haha.

120 pages on an anime thread.. lord. sunshine and soap are your friends people.

okay... denial out of the way. For anyone who has seen the anime Baccano!; do the little girl and the guy known as "vice-director" have anything to do with the story other than introducing it in it's awkwardly connecting ways? They should up and more or less introduce the rest of the story, outside of that they aren't seen. Didn't know if the American subtitles left anything out that would have clued toward one thing or another.

for those that haven't seen Baccano! it's half-season series that tells the story of how a number of peoples lives are connected through a series of loose events. The term Baccano! is Italian for Noise.

and for what it's worth, could anyone recommend me a decent tv series anime that's not Bleach, preferably something new that hasn't been out for too long. Action based, like bleach or naruto. I've seen Dgrayman and liked, kinda. I have black lagoon that i've been meaning to watch. Karas and Gunslinger girl (season 1) are amazing. but yeah >.> looking for something kinda new. i have a lot more harddrive space to fill now.

[Digitalfeeling]

Badger: Anime wise, they are just there to set up the rest of the story.

So which one of the idol is your favorite so far. I know who mine is . It is the idol with the most uploaded picture packs 9 I believe.

All the good anime are ending >_< I need more new anime.

I watched another ep of Bleach disappointed again. I am now just rewatching past anime again and again.

Fan of sky girls?
The official Japanese website of the Strike Witches television series is streaming four commercials promoting the project.
http://s-witch.cute.or.jp/
The Strike Witches explains the premise for mecha-girls: girls whose bodies have been merged with real-life and imaginary machinery and weapons.
The series will premiere in Japan on July 3.

[Buck Private]

Need new anime Need new anime T_T I'm going crazy here.

[Lekk [VN]]

Well June only has Ikkitousen, everything in there suck except Kanu =D, and Telepathy Shoujo Ran.
Just wait for July Buck +__+

[Buck Private]

July? That is still 3 days away how can I wait that long. I need instant gratification >_< LOL.

I saw Ikkitousen not worth watching because they overexaggerate the oppai scenes.

[Digitalfeeling]

Start watching older anime or anime from two seasons ago. I am watching Happiness and that came out a year or two ago. Still looks semi up to date.

[Lekk [VN]]

Well the good news is that Queen's Blade gets animated.

Originally it is a combat picture book game series from a few years ago, which has since been adapted into... pretty much everything else: novels, two manga series, several anthology comics, even drama CDs. No live-action stuff yet, but they'll probably get there, too.

[Buck Private]

It is like all anime clothing have specific spots they get destroyed at or reveal .

Lekk here is something for you a pic.

An e-cookie for who ever realizes something important about this picture.

[Lekk [VN]]

First about Queen's Blade series, their 1/8 figures from megahouse can pretty much be remove deverything =D

Just love that gundam pic, however it's the plastic model kit of RX-78 though. I want Zakus, CG and not plastic kit picture =P!!!
