ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWA!
I just love that praise from Gurren Lagann.

There might be a season 2 depending the popularity of this season. Gainax have announces that there will be a season two if this season gain enough popularity.

Personally, I really doubt they would make a second season. There’s no reason to anyway. It ended fine. A second season might ruin it the whole show, I really wish they would at least do an OVA or 2. but not something important to the story line, maybe like the characters in an alternate universe where they are high school students or what would happen if Kamina stayed alive. or just short funny stories about the characters.

Another day is not a promotional anime. It's a full production that released on the web. The animation is produced by Production I.G`s Studio 9, which is known for the Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. series.
They also have other great works that finished last year such as:

Le Chevalier D`Eon
Seirei no Moribito
Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations
Tokyo Marble Chocolate

It's a sequel of Macross Sage. Here's the description of it:

Macross F is set in around 2070A.D.
F denotes "Frontier"; "Frontier" stands for the migration fleet which is the setting of the story. The story is about the fleet`s encounters with space monsters (or things to that effect) while on its course. It is planned to be a TV series with Kanno Youko handling music, Kikuchi Kouji as director and Kawamori Shouji as general director.

Yeah, that's really true. The fact that Simon is very old, I doubt that they're going to make a Season 2. But, there's Gimmy and Darry! Yes, they took Gurren and Lagann. Well, Simon gave it to Gimmy. And Now, Viral(My Favorite Character and my old name.) is controlling the whole thing.(Arc, and all those stuff.) But, I don't understand it.. At the end, it shows Rossiu is very old, but Leeron isn't. That's really odd. So, Yoko is a principal now?.. Yup, I love that Anime. I can't forget the episode 26-27. Those we're the coolest episodes! Gurren-Lagann=Epic.

My Favorite Quotes:
"Go beyond the impossible and kick reason to the curb! That's the Gurren-dan way!"
And..
"Your drill is one that shall pierce through the heavens!"

:D

Well, judging from Leeron's character, he would have undergone plastic surgeries to have the same look lol.
In the epilogue, an aged Yoko is seen at the same school she once taught at, now working as the principal while Simon hands off all of his personal responsibilities to his friends, and leads a lonely but seemingly content low-profile life well into the epilogue.

Actually, Macross Frontier is set in around 2059 AD and yes, it is a sequence from the original Macross, but 50 years apart. I personally would like to say that Macross and Robotech are 2 different story coz Robotech is actually a combination of 3 different animes which have nothing related with each other besides war with aliens, variable vehicles and songs, lots of songs.

As for Macross, it start with Super Dimension Fortress Macross in 2009 AD (the original Macross), then followed by it movie, Macross: Do You Remember Love? (think of it like The Longest Day in our real world, a movie above the Space War 1 in Super Dimension Fortress Macross)

Then Macross Plus (OVA 4 episodes), set in 2040 AD, about 2 test pilots fighting each other in order to with the Advance Variable Fighter project. (same like ATF project where F22 'Raptor' vs F-23 'Black Widow').

5 years later, 2045AD, we got Macross 7, about a music band 'Fire Bomber' and the 37th Colony Fleet, the Macross 7 Fleet, which started the Second Space War (actually it just the fleet vs aliens - Protodevlins).

Then we got a prequel, Macross Zero, set 1 year before the original Macross at the Mayan Island. This time it's just the human conflict where UN vs Anti-UN (nations that against the Unification of the Earth governments)

And now we got Macross Frontier, 11 years after Second Space War with the 25th Immigration Fleet Frontier. Will be on air in Japan on MBS Channel in April.

If I miss anything, please share with us.

Lekk, what would you recommend for me? I'm not a huge anime fan, but I did really like Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell SAC. I guess I like the more realistic-style artwork, rather than the very cartoony, goofy stuff.

Lifter, you should watch Seirei no Moribito
It has an excellent art, storyline and produced by the same producer as Ghost in the Shell SAC.

If you're into psychological things, there's one airing right now, Ghost Hound, made by same producer. Personally I would prefer Seirei no Moribito
