I could never get into Anime and I don't think i ever will lol no offence to anime watchers out there i just don't find it interesting.

Here's an interesting definition I found in this case:
Anime haters:
Individuals who have either never seen decent anime, or who are simply conceited and refuse to believe that the American version of televised entertainment is so pathetic it's actually embarrassing. Serial Experiments Lain was so good it was actually required course material at MIT for several classes concerning technology and modern society.
What anime haters are missing out on:
1. Serial Experiments Lain.
2. Texhnolyze.
3. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GiG.
4. Ghost in the Shell: Innocence as well as Solid State Society (movies).
5. Haibane Renmei.

Theatrical Version of Gurren Lagann Pre-Announced, official announcement to be made in Newtype Magazine on March 10.
Also, ADV Films had announced that it would begin releasng the Gurren Lagann television series in North America last month, but Gurren Lagann was one of the titles ADV Films removed from its listings in January. ADV Films is currently working to bring this anime back on its release schedule like it did with most of its other recent titles.

The manga called Shinseiki Evangelion: Gakuen Datenroku, which can be better described as “Persona 3 setting meets Evangelion cast”.
High school is such a dangerous place these days.
Ikari Shinji is your typical student at the NERV Foundation Academy, the top elite academy in Tokyo. But his peaceful days end one night with 2 events: the finding of a odd marble on the ground and the sighting of classmate Rei Ayanami with a mysterious guy, which is later revealed as the new transfer student, Kaworu Nagisa.
Perplexed by the indiference that Kaworu and Rei show for each other and the apparent interest that Kaworu reveals for Shinji, he decides to stalk both of them. Then he gets involved in a fight between them and a misterious guy, Ramiel, who has black wings and calls himself an angel…

I'm more in to funny anime like Azumanga Diaoh. but stuff like Noir and Kenshin are fun too. also a big fan on Escaflowne.
I would suggest anime such as Honey and Clover. It's a great blend of college drama and comedy...
If you want something just like Azumanga Diaoh, pick up Lucky Star, which aired last year.
School Rumble is a great comedy tittle too.

been wanting to check out school rumble heard good things. but i have been spoiled by my big screen and dont get much to the way of fan subs any more. last one i got was hikro no go that was some time ago. almost got into prince of tennis but the subs were really bad

you can rent them from blockbuster online or netflix also not the most recent ova's but both the first and second stage and extra stage
