Dragonball Movie Reportedly Pushed Back to April 2009

The ComingSoon.net film news website reports that the Twentieth Century Fox production company has delayed the live-action Dragonball movie's opening from August 15, 2008 to April 3, 2009. The website notes that The International, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Tropic Thunder and Wild Child are all scheduled to open on August 15 in North America. No other film has been pegged for Dragonball's new date. The Dragonball movie adapts Akira Toriyama's fighting manga of the same name. Director James Wong (Final Destination, X-Files television series, The One) has been shooting the film in Mexico since late last year, and Stephen Chow, the actor and director behind Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer, signed on as a producer.

Dragonball Movie pushed back? Again?!
1st time I heard about Dragonball movie was like 5 year ago, if I'm not mistake.

Talking about average anime watcher, ever try watching the entire season per day?
Don't! B'coz it might melt your brains out through your nostril, especially if the anime was a lousy one or mind-boggling.

lol, I'm currently watching of 10+ shows of this winter 07/spring 08 season. Here's my weekly watch list ^__^

Gundam 00 (almost the end)
True Tear
Hayate the combat Butler
Ghost Hound
Rosario + Vampire
Minami-ke Okawari
Persona: Trinity Soul
H2O
Rental Magica
Shakugan no Shana Second
Kimikiss Pure rogue
Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de
Dragonaut
Major Season 3
Shigofumi

This season they don't have any great title. Even Ghost Hound from Production I.G. is bad comparing to company other titles.

Currently, I'm watching
- Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and it's 2nd season Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
- Sketchbook ~Full Color~
- Azumanga Daioh (I know it's old already, but I just crazy about Osaka)

I'm watching Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei too but the releases are so inconsistent.
Sketchbook ~Full Color~ ---> stopped after 1st episode, it gives me loli feeling.....
Azumanga Daioh ---> I heard it's great but never watch pass the 2nd episode. I don't like short comedy that much

News for Yugi-Oh fans

During his fourth-quarter 2007 earnings call to financial analysts on Monday, 4Kids Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Al Kahn confirmed that "this fall we expect to broadcast a brand new Yu-Gi-Oh! show that is debuting in Japan next month." Kahn is referring to Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, the latest television series in the manga, card game, and anime franchise which will premiere in Japan on April 2.

Set several decades after the adventures of Yūgi Mutō (the protagonist of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! story), Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's will focus on a new protagonist named Yūsei Fudō. Yūsei is a duelist who operates a red motorcycle-like D-Wheel in a new stadium game called Riding Duel.
