Umineko no Naku Koro ni is Officially Announced

A promotional flyer from Frontier Works, one of the producers of the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When They Cry - Higurashi) anime, has officially announced that a television anime adaptation of 07th Expansion's Umineko no Naku Koro ni (When They Cry - Seagulls) mystery suspense dōjin game has been green-lit for production. Production on the anime is set to begin this summer.
Umineko no Naku Koro ni follows a spate of murders in a remote Japanese location in the 1980s— this time, on the island of Rokkenjima in October of 1986.

The Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai sequel has also been animated with another sequel announced in OVA format. The original Higurashi story has been adapted into a live-action film and a planned live-action sequel.

Summer as usual is getting really slow.

Only thing keeping me going is the Birdy anime and the wait for Gundam 00 Season 02.

Lets steer this discussion to old animes we have watched.

I still like watching this anime called Burst Angels once in a while and if you have not watched it you should because it is awesome.

i just love 2 watch Elfen Lied over and over again....just awesome.......alot of goar....but cool
but i also love 5cm/sec....just fits for nearly all my music i have on my pc right now(only 5 songs )

and i cant wait (for some strange reason) for the last Clannad OVA 24..duno y...

It makes me sad at the end when the dad and daugther both die. T_T crazy circumstances.

Another of my favorite old anime might be Claymore. This anime is not that old and it is fairly interesting. It has women/demon fighting demon with swords that is about 5.5 ft+ and they wield it like it is a feather.

ahh..claymore...i only read the manga..interessting indeed.....well..guess doesnt hurt trying the anime.....but one thing...i really think they should make some more for elfen lied......13 eps are just 2 few......

Umisho this is another anime people should watch. Interesting stuff in this anime.
