Dod maps for INS?

Hello map makers, have any of you crazy old beans thought about making some of the old Dod maps for INS?

I started online fps way back in 2004 with Day of defeat. I used to go to a web shop with my friends take up all the seats and have a full-on battle, was great fun and I loved alot of the maps they had. I haven't bought dod:s so I don't know what the new maps are like or even how popular the games are but I can imagine running through the streets of france screaming "Allah ackbar" with my Ak-47.

Now INS is my fps of choice and I was wondering if anyone fancies taking a crack at some of the classic maps like; Kalt, flash, caen, avalanche anzio etc. and converting them over to INS.

Would be great to have one of those in the firefight rotation I think or even possibly on the dust server.

Maybe if anyone decides to do it and they go down well have a few more maps from other games on the dust server.

If only I had the patience for making maps. Not to mention the know-how.

Most if not all of the textures would have to be replaced along with the models. Would be fun thou.

I did manage to port 1 dod map over but it wasn't one of those default maps like donner or anything similar... I'm sure there are plenty of people are "taking the ownership" of porting over a dod map since someone spoke up.

A list of what DoD:S maps would be fun in INS would be best. I personally don't really know any of the DoD:S maps well enough to say which would go great in INS.

Flash and Avalanche are probably two of the most popular DOD maps around. I could see flash being a lot of fun if porting it over isn't such a problem. I'm not much of a mapper so I'd leave that assessment up to those who are better equipped for this sort of thing.

I can't speak for Dod:s as I don't own it but I imagine they are only minor map changes from the original. A list of maps that would work well is in my original post:

Anzio
Avalanche
Caen
Flash
Kalt

Not only are they good maps for INS but they were also popular aswell so they shouldn't extinct the server if they came onto a rotation.
