In my opinion, this is sort of unfair. The physical warefare pack should be the same through out all regions because one country may have (for example) the M95 as an exclusive and another region (for example) a pistol =.= (see where im going with this?). And then again whats up with those poor souls who've already pre-ordered the game from day one, they didnt say the DLC comes with BF3 (did they?). Well, i hope they make up a good decision in the end. oh and how comes PC version is cheaper than xbox or PS3 , but i still CANT WAIT THOUGH!

well for the first part about the physical warfare pack, i seriously doubt they give different regions an unfair advantage as compared to a m95 and pistol. the north american one will probably be the same weapon types as the european one.

the people that pre-ordered BF3 from day one will get the physical warfare pack and the back to karkand dlc expansion. the pre-order gives you the limited edition BF3 which always includes the physical warfare pack, the only benefit for pre-ordering is that you get the back to karkand dlc for free.

the PC version of games has historically been cheaper for one major reason, licensing fees. the PC is not a specific brand name controlled by a company, its a enormous mix of brands. the xbox and ps3 versions cost $10 more because that extra amount is the licensing fee for having their game featured on a console since the xbox is microsoft and ps3 is sony.

another example of the $10 extra fee is with certain steam games. recently (dont quote me on this, im too lazy to find the article again) the FCC made a move to reduce the market share of steam to make sure it doesnt become a monopoly because steam was dominating the online download sale of games so they made games that come out with steam and built to run with steam a $10 licensing fee similar to consoles.

BF3 surely looks amazing, and it will be a step beyond BF2 for sure. But I think it may be easy to be a bit disappointed in the final result if we focus all of our expectations on what we have seen from mostly single player modes so far. They can always add in cool effects in single player that never make it into Multi.
