Yes. I'll buy an mmo I don't need to pay for and can play whenever I feel like it any day. The lack of feeling obligated is what really entices me. That and the engineer class.

Hell yeah! Been waiting for this since ever!!

guild wars is the only mmo i ever liked, i had the first one a while back, and when i was almost finished with the main story line i had to get a new computer and i lost the game. I'm pumped to get the new guild wars though, especially since it's one of the rare mmo's that doesn't rob you with a monthly fee just to play the game

Not interested. I know its the kind of MMO that you don't pay monthly fee's for, but I'm still not interested. Maybe I'll change my mind in the future.

YES! YES! AND DID I SAY YES?

I know literally EVERYTHING about Guild Wars 2. I played the first one for thousands of hours. I'm pre-ordering the collector's edition the instant it is available. Even if it's $200, I'm not kidding.

As for those of you not interested in it...

I played GuildWars for the 1st 4 years it was out & I'm burned out on it & I'm waiting on Diablo 3 to come out!

The game can't come out soon enough! :D
This game is redefining the MMO genre, I know that most new MMO's claim that they are bringing something innovative to the industry, but Guild Wars 2 is not just bringing something new, it has already redefined the MMO genre. The game has already thrown out all the conventional ideas of an MMO and rebuilt the genre from the ground up. This game will be the eve of a new generation of MMO's without a doubt.

I know this sounds like I'm just advertising it but here are my reasons:

1) The traditional questing system of talk to NPC> get quest> go kill/collect 20 of xxx> return to NPC> accept reward is now Explore the enormous world> you see something happening> You check it out> fight the dynamic event ex. centaurs are invading the town> automatically collect rewards based on your effort> continue exploring and reap the benefits of choosing to help that town.
2) The traditional party system of inviting people to your group, or private messaging a party leader asking them to invite you is gone. The system here is: You see a group of people in an event, say fighting to liberate citizens from a nearby town, you run over and you start helping. That is it, you get the rewards, experience, loot, just like if you were in the traditional system, except the rewards are distributed by contribution.
3) Event scaling. This means your not limited to a linear feeling advancement in the game, meaning once you hit say level 10, you don't have to go to the next zone to get new quests or fight adequate enemies. You fight and do whatever you want to and the enemy will scale in difficulty to you and your group, what this also means is that you can take on stronger level mobs and win, or you can revisit low level areas to play with a friend and that area will scale up, such as the mob gains new skills and abilities, to remain challenging.
4) One of the huge things, the classic trinity of healer/DPS/tank is gone! Every class can fulfill each role, so groups no longer have to wait for a healer, or a tank. Each class has a self heal, you can revive teammates, you can heal teammates, you can dodge, you can block, one player can adapt to whatever role is necessary.
5) A personalized storyline. Your choices affect your future in the game. This part is too long for me to surmise it and still do it justice, so I'll leave it at that to hopefully entice others to research the game on their own. In-short, you can make the exact same character, same race, class, gender, etc. and still experience a completely different in-game world. Quests, NPCs, events, they can all alter based on your choices.

I could keep on going with this list but it's just too long for me to type here, so
I sincerely hope that some of the points I mentioned above will get you a bit interested.

Most def getting it!, lots of changes over the first one and their redoing alot of stuff which will be nice.
