I just recently got into it and i am looking to expand my horizons and talk to people who also enjoy the genre

Skrillex is a great artist (though mainstream as a lot would probably say). Some of his live stuff is fantastic and he has a free EP out. He's signed under mau5trap records (deadmau5's label).

Bassnectar isn't bad.

Deadmau5's song, Raise Your Weapon has a dubstep outro, pretty cool, speaking of Deadmau5, he's releasing some dubstep demos (which are pretty sweet sounding) so far under the name f**kmylife (censored because I know eGO is picky, but use your imagination and you'll find out how to spell that. Hah.)

Personally, I found dubstep through UKF videos on youtube, they have tons of artists, Bar 9 was one of the ones I first started listening to.

If you can't find anything you're into right away, try Pandora.com (Pandora Radio, they have apps for iOS and android) and pop in the dubstep radio under the Electronic section of genres.

Sorry I can't be a HUGE help in finding new music, but this should give you something to start with

Favoite Mix ever would have to be Excisions Shambala 2010 and his 2009 one is bad either. You should check the mix out on youtube. Its in parts but its still amazing.

Personally im a music junkie. I listen to EVERYTHING lol. If anyone wants a big list of good and new uprising Djs hit me up with a PM or add me and ill give you some sweet bands. Its nice to see that so many people actually care about dubstep. Makes me happy lol
