Voice Chat Doesnt work

[BlackBird.]

Hello,

For some reason voice chat doesnt work. Ive bind it to "k".
And when I press K nothing happens. I tried binding it to other keys, I reinstalled DOD:S, but without a good result.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

~Bird.

have you tried going to the steam setting and made sure you have ptt and the same key enabled?

Nothing would show up if a microphone isn't recognized to be plugged in. Check your steam settings > voice and click on 'Auto Detect Devices' if there isn't a device already in the 'Recording (audio input) device', if the auto doesn't work, try manually. If still no luck, make sure the microphone actullay works by testing else-where, ventrilo maybe.

Join game, go to "Options" > "Keyboard" find there Communication Commands and check it and/or bind another letter.

It works in ventrilo, and those settings are good now, actually they already were, thank, but still not working.

Glad you got it working. Sometimes i wish Steam was a person so i could punch it right in the face.
