Deleting GMAIL account

If I delete my GMAIL account, will I still be able to use my Youtube account?

Because I'm deleting the GMAIL account, and not the YouTube one.

I don't know if it will unbind them or what.

No i mean, their binded for good. Google bought youtube. They binded them for security reasons i would presume. I get the gist of what your getting at, but no.

Just a while ago you were able to link multiple emails to YouTube, but I
think they disabled that setting seeing as I can't find it...

... if it still exists somewhere, just link a different email and delete the
Google email account, that way if you ever need a password change and
such, it uses the linked email instead.
