Objectives​
Troops over the next 18 days you are tasked with multiple objectives:
  • First you are tasked to search out and retrieve the dog tags of those traitorous members of our division
  • Second you are to secure domination with the weapons available to you
  • Third you are convince more people to join our cause
  • Finally keep the area under our control

OK what I was trying to get through with that last little bit was that I am hosting a competition!

The competition will start at 6:00pm EST on June 2 and will end on June 20 at 6:00pm. The competition will be a point based system with points awarded for knifing eGO members or for obtaining GameMe awards for Vietnam weapons.

  • =(e)=™ tags: 1 point
  • =(eG)=™ tags: 2 points
  • =(eGO)=™ tags: 3 points
  • Leadership tags: 4 points
  • Earn a Vietnam GameMe award for most kills with a weapon for that day: 12 points
  • Earn the torch or syringe award with at least 7 kills: 20 points

While that is the main part of the competition that will count towards the prizes for first, second, and third there are two additional objectives that I am aiming for with this competition:
  1. First I want us to bring in more recruits from the Phu Bai server. My aim is to bring in 20 recruits from Phu Bai alone over the course of this competition. If you recruit someone from Phu Bai post a link to their application on your post.
  2. Second Phu Bai's server ranking has been falling. Over the course of this competition I would like to see it break the top 50.
There are prizes for these additional objectives as well (see below)

Rules:
  • Competition will run for 18 days starting June 2 at 6:00pm EST and will end June 20 at 6:00pm EST
  • All eGO members are allowed to participate
  • Since all information will be taken from GameMe this must be on eGO's Phu Bai server
  • There must be at least 6 players in the server
  • Each person is allowed ONE POST in this thread. Please edit your post with any updates that you have.
  • If you get a knife or award post the line of text from GameMe to this thread. NO SCREENSHOTS WILL BE ACCEPTED (If GameMe loses your kill then so be it. That adds to the challenge) This image explains it nicely for the knives and for the awards instead of clicking events click the awards link right next to it.
  • When posting knife kills and awards please separate them into groups such as first posting second posting etc. to make it easier to assign point values.
    [*]Only Vietnam weapon awards will count. The awards for these weapons are listed as "(NAM) M1911"
    [*]If I suspect ANY cooperation between players to get the top prizes you WILL be disqualified. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. So basically if there are 6 of you in the server I don't want you doing pistols and knives only. Just play normally.
    [*]At the halfway point I will post the current top three players



UPDATES TO RULES​
These go into effect at 12:00am June 3
  • GameMe has two separate days. One that tracks actions (such as knife kills) and chat which starts a new day at 6pm EST. The other day is the day that tracks the awards for most kills with each weapon.
  • Due to the different timing for the weapon awards those for June 2 and June 20 will only be worth 6 points because of it not being a full day.
  • You may only knife each person twice per day. This is the 6pm-6pm day.
  • I hope I cleared that up but if you are still confused on what each day is feel free to ask me

Additional Objectives:
If we get 20 Phu Bai Recruits Leftenent has promised to eat 1 Mustoreo with a pickle chip and Slazenger will eat 5 Mayoreos (as he feels that Mustoreos are overhyped).
If we are able to get Phu Bai to be a top 20 server then Leftenent has promised to eat 3 more mustoreos with pickle chips.
If we are able to get Phu Bai to be a top 20 server and have the other three in the top 50 by the end of this competition I will eat a mustoreo

Should be great if... we have Kerak, V-FIN, Towerladder and Vertago... that will be more interesting..

I'd like to remind you that Sexy Smexy is perfectly eligible for the prizes too so I'd be more worried about Mr. M40 over there.

Finally something that will make me play Vietnam even more than I have been.
I wonder if RPG's, mines and vehicles count as weapons or gadgets in this "Operation Phu Bai: Eye for an Eye". This will be interesting and all I need is people to surrender to me and me alone.

RPG, mines, and the M1911 all have their own Vietnam award. Vehicles do not except for road kills so you'd be best off if you stayed out of vehicles.
 
Due to me making a totally screwy math error the competition start and end time have been moved forward 5 hours. The competition now starts June 2 @ 6:00pm EST and ends June 20 @ 6:00pm EST. Since it ends at a reasonable time in the evening I should be able to announce winners that night.

I might play since i fixed me problems however...one thing still remains.. How much time will i have in the month of June? Time will tell. :mellow:

We both need a 'map rotation' to spice up our relationship with BC2.. :P

When i play BC2 now i just can't wait to get out of the server and exit the game after 1-2 maybe 3 matches. :glare:
