Hey EdgeGamers, Kek here.

First off I would like to know if anyone is interested in playing LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online) it's a free to play mmorpg and I know a couple of us have been playing for quite a while now and need some more eGO members playing with us for a nice and fun experience :) If you're interested the website is https://trial.turbine.com/lotro.php go there make an account, download it then you should be set! As for us, we're currently playing on the server BrandyWine and are loving the game.. it has been out for quite a while and I personally like it better than any other mmo's just because you don't have to pay monthly or a payment at all. Also, if you like reading Lord of the Rings, then this game might be for you.. seeing how it's based on many of the books. :)

Please not that some of the Free account restrictions may/have change. EX: In a few months the PVP will be available to everyone and not just subscribers.

is their any type of cash payment in this game, for like ingame double exp or items, skins whatever?

Yes. If you want to get items, skins, etc you can use real money to buy Turbine points (or farm them form doing deeds in game) to use to get those things in the store.
 
I played for quite a while and enjoyed it, never spent any real money though.

I quit because I've been busy and didn't want to go through the 10 GB download after I reformatted :P
 
Now I reinstalled it because I'm gonna want to play when Rise of Isengard comes out and I know the servers will be getting more busy with people wanting to preorder it and get the bonuses. Anyone else here on the Imladris server?

If you aren't too far into your character on Imladris, I suggest moving to Brandywine sense most of us play there. You can try transferring your character to Brandywine but according to the forums they won't accept any more transfer requests to move characters to Brandywine, however that was said over a year ago so maybe it's changed.
 
Sorry for late reply, I have been gone all week. I think they might be doing transfers again, but atm i think they aren't allowing any more to brandywine as the server is overpopulated, though i may be wrong. Also with the new expansion pack (the legendary edition that is) you get 4 quest packs i believe. Those quest packs will basically unlock the rest of the game, you get one for a lvl 30 region, 50 and up. And you can use the 1000tp to buy the lvl 40 quest packs when they go on sell. Though you don't really need them unless you want them.

Access to the Path of the Fellowship Quest Packs including Trollshaws, Eregion, Lothl?rien and Moria plus the Mirkwood Quest Pack as a special bonus

I still play. Havent logged in for about a week or two. I usually get to play on weekends.
 
I'm thinking of making one if you want to do that. And any other eGO members that'd like to join us! What's your in-game name?
 
Getting back into this game after a year or two. I'll probably be starting a character on Brandywine or whatever server most of you guys are on. Has a guild been established yet or no? I'll add you guys to my friends list once I actually create my character.
