Steam account issues - Please read!

Many of you may be having issues trying to play TF2 (or other valve games). Looks like Valvle screwed up on thier last update. here is the posting on the valve forums from an "official". Basically you are told you do not own the game when you try to connect to an online server.

There is no need to contact Support regarding this matter.

We are performing some maintenance on accounts. Only games purchased around the release of The Orange Box and before will be affected.

The maintenance will complete in roughly 20 hours. However, your game may become playable much sooner than that.

Oh here we go again. I've been having to put up with TF2s constant crashing for long enough, I nearly had to move to the Killing Floor division (Oh no!). Well, I'm just glad it's being fixed now, I was really sick of constant crashes for a week straight.

Oh I just read the post. They didn't fix that, great...
Alright, I'll go try updating my ATI catalyst from 10.11 to 11.5, steam did a terrible job at keeping my drivers updated -.-

I had this problem with DODS, but I was able to play TF2, which I bought after the orange box.

looks like they may have fixed this now.. mine tf2 is up
