Ok, everyone here - except the girlfriend?

So anyways I'll try to be brief (not my strongest skill).

Memorial day weekend we went to the Phoenix ComiCon (PICS) and had a blast. Next year we plan to go as Joker and Harley Quinn from the new Arkham City game. Going to drop some money and make sure we do it proper. Kids are all excited. Should be a great time. Costumes, nerds, Zombie Walk, etc.


But anyways, back to my point. Misty this is where you really need to go away dear.



I think I might propose while we're there. But I need an awesome idea of how to do it. keep in mind I can most likely track down people willing to help me with almost any superhero or anime costume. Not sure what big names will be there next year either. This year they had Leonard Nimoy and Stan lee. Radio stations, TV news, tons of nerd websites and other media types were all there. they had many panels and competitions. A few different style beauty pageants. There's also a day we'll be dressed as a zombie family for the Zombie Walk. Any of these things could be worked in.

So there's my question to you. If you were going to ask your nerd girl to marry you in the middle of one of the largest comic book conventions in the southwest - what would you do to make sure it was worth remembering?
 
When people go up to the stage to speak, have them be like, "Oh, (girlfriend name here), (your name here) wants to marry you."

Something along those lines. I'm sure they can set it up for you.
 
Already picked out the ring. having a heart shaped ruby put in it.

Zombie Family Day...but you and her dress as Francis and Zoey from Left 4 Dead.

Grab a bunch of the zombie people and have a staged "flash mob" style thing go on where you two get surrounded by zombies, all the while acting authentically like our beloved duo from L4D. Explain to her that you can only say things they actually say in the game.

Then go back and forth while you're surrounded. Make it loud so that it attracts the attention of those around you.

"GRABBIN PILLS!" You yell.

"RELOADING" She yells back

"GRABBIN A RING!" You yell.

This will obviously be confusing because no one in Left 4 Dead says that. She will know that and so will the onlookers. She'll turn to look and see why you went "off script" and you'll be on one knee. You know what to do from there...

Then after she says "yes" (We can assume that right?) You yell one more line to let people know it's over. "GRABBIN A SMOOCH!" And.....scene. /Applause

That's how I'd do it. Don't worry I won't be offended if you choose a different way.

creative lol anyways I hope she doesn't see this thread lol my creative mind is towards videos sorry but good luck figuring out what you're going to do can't be easy
