Free Video Converter Software?

[Silencer67]

Does anyone here know of a free video converter software that i can use to convert the video files to a smaller size for eGO Cribs? If you could tell me the name or give me a link it would be great! Thank you!

I use VirtualDub for all my video needs. (Yes, its free)

... I'm not exactly sure how much you can convert in it, but I think all you
need is the codec and you're all set. (Could someone confirm this please?)
