What are the games you are looking foward to?

Halo 2 overrated.. halo 1 a masterpeice. I was looking foward to that game 2 years before it came out on xbox when it was going to be released on pc. The use of vehicles was going to be revolutionary for a shooter. We all know EA and Battlefield 1942 brought this idea to the modern era of fps gaming. Ill take any of you boys on in some classic Coral Sea or Desert Combat for that matter !lol
 
Yeah well I played Halo2 for the action on Xbox Live. My friends and I all played online and believe me you get 16 players in some of these tiny maps and give them super advanced weaponry and you can have loads of fun ^_^
 
El Alamein day 2 is my favorite map on desert Combat. BF2 was and is a joke. EA has never solved any of the glithes ( for me the ATI driver problems drive me up the wall) with there lack luster patches.. bf1942 had a patch everymonth for a time there.
Now the got bf2145 or whatever its called out.. I want touch it with a ten foot pole thanks to how they ruined bf2. that game had SOO much potentiol. Its like Medal Of Honor series. MOA allied assault had one of the greatest gaming moments, the allied Omaha Beach landing. Then EA dtarted dropping those lacklister addons. Call of Duty expansions were not bad though ,yep played them too.. :)
 
But I love battlefield two, I love that game. How can you diss that game, the only problem I had with that game was that my computer was just fast enough to play it once it loaded and smoothed out but loading took FOREVER!
 
I will also add Duke Nukem: Forever which will take "forever" to release.

Lastly, Grand Theft Auto IV - X360. I have this last because San Andreas was a disgrace. Horrible storyline (if you can call it one), fabulously terrible gameplay, and the guns.....i would rather use squirtguns than the guns in that game. THEY SUCK. A LOT of work needs to be done to IV for it to appeal to me.
 
bf2 wasnt really much of a glitchy game... i didnt notice any glitches... i used to have the game but i gave it to my friend as a really last minute birthday gift :D... i still regret that to this day.. so thats why im getting 2142!!!! (i think i posted this earlier in this thread.. did i?)
 
I wish I had an Xbox 360 for Rainbow Six Vegas. >< I love the games, and the book.
 
Guess what guys my memory stick for my PSP came I am so happy I have been playing alot.
 
Awesome dude, I have a PSP as well and I'm currently playing GTA: Liberty City Stories. A portable GTA is something I dreamed of ever since I ran down my first pedestrian in a pick-up truck in GTA III...good times. I also play Metroid Prime: Hunters online for the DS. The different playable characters makes it pretty fun, especially the one with the with the sniper as a special weapon....it OWNZ
 
Oh and I also have to add the new Medal of Honor: Airborne game to my list. MoH: Frontline is one of my all-time favorite games, and hopefully EA will outdo themselves when Airborne ships for the PS3 and X360.
 
moh airborn looks good but ill hold out and see. Let me know how it plays. I am SOOO tired of those scripted events.
 
yeah me too Brit, but with games that are truly good single player and multiplayer wise, like Call of Duty 2, it keeps me hoping.
 
Here, I can give you an outcome right now. MOH games all suck. EA sucks. It wouldn't take EA much to outdo themselves if they got some decent developers onboard. BF2 is fun but the weapon damage is retarded. The B&W series is the only good series EA has ever published, and that's only because Lionhead/Molyneux tells them to get the heck out of his office :P Basically what it boils down to is... I freakin' hate EA Games. I was loyal and kept hoping their FIFA games would get better, but no. They all sucked. The only thing that got better was the graphics. Their madden games hardly change; all they do is up the graphics and maybe a touch of better physics as well.

PS- I played MOHAA and was like wow, what a piece of junk this game is.
 
Well you certainly aren't an EA fan, but if you're basing it in their soccer games, let me inform you that ALL soccer games suck, no matter what company makes them. MOHAA has a massive fanbase as well, even though i dont think its that great either. A few good points, but nothing much. MOH Frontline is one of my all-time favs because i actually feel like I'm in France circa 1944, from the environments to the German's faces (they actually look German). Plus I love the Garand in that game. Personally i was let down with Rising Sun, and European Assault was a disgrace, but hopefully they'll turn all that around and make Airborne a masterpiece. If not, I'm done with the MOH series.




And yeah, the damage in Battlefield 2 is a little much, but the people that really stick with the game and get good at it (me ;) ) have a solution: aim for the head. :D
 
MOH is the crappyest series of FPS's that I know of. Every event is coded into the game, theres no free will in that game. You decide when to shoot thats it. All you are is a mouse (with guns) running around a maze trying to get to the end. Thats why I like battlefield 2, its totally open you decide what you want to do. I have never played a game that was the same as another on BF2 oh and noxus what rank are you on BF2? I believe I am a Gunnery Sergeant. I have been playing BF2 for a while and I even played back when you had to get 10,000 points just to get up to corporal >.< Boy was that hard just go get a rank, then they made it alot easier and I got up to Gunnery Sergeant so yeah what rank are you and whats kits do you play? I play Medic (When I played medic seriously I was ranked in the top 100 medics online) but I mostly play Spec. Forces. The G36C is teh ownage ^-^ And lets not forget about the C4... So yeah I don't really play much anymore but maybe we can get a couple cames togeather and I will show you how to play a medic ^-^
