Is it just me or is it not even fun to be a T in jail anymore? Due to the massive amount of freekills and CTs not paying any attention to the rules whatsoever CTs who dont know the rules get like 10 chances to freekill unless they kill the admins themselves.. The only time that its fun for being a T is wether im on the team giving crappy orders or its a freeday. Im not complaining ive just realized that the freekills lately have just been insane and its not cool for the Ts who have to wait 11 minutes for the next round to start due to a CT not caring about the rules. This is just my opinion some feedback from everyone else would be greatly appreciated. :)

I agree

I think CTs need to pay attention more to the warden. Thats how freekilling usually occurs.

yes it is frustrating but not much you can do unless your an admin and i have played jail when there is no admin and its crazy. but if someone freekills you just type in admin chat (if they will do anything, which it seems like they have been slacking. do to to much freekilling)i personally think that in eGO or not you should read the rules to get a better idea of what you can and cant do.

I think its the fact that the guns fire bullets instead of healing salve... THATS the problem...

I know what to do when i get freekilled. what im saying is id rather have them revoked after the second time then having them freekill 10 ppl before they get a warning

I agree with Mau5, it's crazy the amount of times an individual has to blatantly freekill before they even get a warning.

Freekills will always happen. It's sad, but true. Accepting that makes jail a bit more fun. I think the biggest problem is when one person gets freekilled and drags on complaining for 3 hours.

*kills ____ accidentally*
_____: OMG FREEILL
_____: DUDE WHYD U FREEKILL ME?!
_____: DUDE! ADMIN! BAN HIM

^ Thats the problem. You respawn next round guys, cool off. :)

Being an admin in the past, I know that when you tell them that you were freekilled, they do their very best to handle this issue. Of course, every freekill can not always be punished.

i think this also, ive noticed the last few weeks have been horrible. I try being CT to help with no freekilling, But with all these cts who dont know the rules.. I have seen the jail server with low amount of people lately due to people freekilling so much.. i just wish people knew how to play jail.. like back when Ric wasnt AFK

What?! I've been shooting stacks for months thinking it healed. But anyway.. No offense but jail isn't what it is. People dont play it anymore and it's not just on our server. No offense to people thatcare younger because there are some amazing younger wardens in eGO. But to me, if jail gets a younger ct and they want to be warden everyone kind of freaks out. Some people are good at warden and others are not. And ten others just don't understand the rules. And when we get bad wardens the server will start to empty out. It seems that we need some better wardens with good game ideas. That do get most of the t team free killed ecause of orders that no one could understand or comprehend. That's just my input though, do if you have a mic and good ideas please try warden :D

well i mean the admins try to deal with it but it happens so often that 1 or 2 freekills is like nothing but still pisses people off (me and probably alot of other people).

Mau5 I agree with you, As most of the jail regulars know I'm both a main warden and T try-hard rebel haha. But alot of the CTs are to busy trying to get kills, then when something happens all of a sudden they shoot and end up freekilling. Not just for players, but alot of times for STs and its getting rediculous. Even with admins being present this issue is occuring alot more than it should do to negligence by the CTs. Also I believe (This is just my opinion and how people on CT decide to play) but many of the CT wardens are either making it way to strict for Terrorists to enjoy the game or dont know the rules well enough and people are dying to do it. I have witnessed this myself. Now given people are new and need to learn, you have some regulars that are just sucking the fun out of jailbreak mod. Terrorists come to have fun and win (most of them) Not to be frozen for half the round, die to bumping their mouse or keyboard by accident. Ive seen more than half a team die do to the opening orders and it gets rediculous sometimes. (Stated once again just my opinion, the CTs are doing nothing wrong in the situation, but should be worked with or pushed not to do.) All in all though the freekilling is not acceptable, Terrorists sometimes have to wait 10 minutes for a new round all because of a negligent CT not listening or paying attention. And thats not fun for anyone!

couldn't warden just ask for CT's not to shoot T's unless clearly rebelling? and only warden can kill T's during a command/game? warden could also say "kill this person" and it will save some freekills...

There is always that player that shoots them anyway ;)

i think that since i have a bad (possibly the worst?) mic when im a CT then people think im freekilling since they dont hear me. i realy dont want them to think that im a bad warden since i shot them IN GUNROOM! and i dont remember saying gunroom freeday to the t's. its getting realy annoying that my mic is getting in the way of me being a good warden

lol.

This is how you solve this:

Warden says "Do not shoot them unless I specifically order so or if they have positively rebelled, not just moved an inch."

Remember, Warden is in command of the Guards, they work for the Warden. If the Guards do not listen to the Warden's direction, the Guards may have themselves on the Prisoner side. A lot of Guards have a mentality of "I am a Guard, I have no commander." No, you do, you just choose to ruin the role playing experience and upset people.

Use authority, command your Guards. If they fail to abide by your direct order, ask an admin(Ric, when he's on.) to remove the player from the Guard team, as she/he is not fit enough for his/her position.

Admins must follow present rules too. I don't really agree with the "Unless they kill the admins themselves." Admin trainers train the admins to enforce the rules with leniency and without emotion. That means, if a new player killed an admin for the first time, the admin is supposed to let it slide, as mistakes happen. Obviously, no union is perfect, and we all make mistakes. Someone's new, someone's from a different division, or whatever it may be. But, if you notice the same admin revoking everyone on a first freekill basis, you definitely need to let admin trainers or Leadership know.

What if you join the server, and there's this guy who's freekilled 4 people before you joined, happens to kill an admin, and gets revoked for it. Always think of it from both point of views, that comment really hurts my feelings.

If you find yourself in a situation where no admins will listen to you, and there's still that one guy/girl ruining the efficiency of Jail, leave me a note. I'll make sure it gets handled in the proper way. Remember, never get mad in a server, just disconnect. I don't want anyone banned from Jail, ever. :P

I personally think that the CT's are freekilling a little too much, and this increase has made the Jailbreak server less fun than it used to be. I think the CT's are not paying close enough attention to the warden's orders, and therefore, are freekilling more. Also, lately, the CT's have generally had the mentality that all the T's are always trying to rebel. While the T's will probably do so if given an ideal situation, a lot of the T's try to obey the warden, but are killed because the CT's thought they were going to shoot them, were delaying or were detouring, while the T's were actually trying to drop a gun, type or figure out where to go. I think the largest contributor to the freekilling (if I may) "epidemic" is the intention of the CT's to rack up as many kills as possible. Instead, they should just try to enjoy the game and have fun. I understand that freekilling happens; it is unnavoidable. However, if the CT's just pay closer attention to the orders given, be more lenient with the T's and try to have fun, freekills will drop and everyone will have more fun on the Jailbreak server.

That time existed? (jk ric)

Also, yes.. freekilling is on the loose this days, the CT's don't know what to do. there was a guy that entered in oswald on CT side, the round started, we (the T's) were stacked up in the middle, he dropped down and killed 80% of the T's (me included) it was epic and he got banned but the freekill was there.. in big amounts
