CT jail gaurds...

Freekills happen, and one free-kill doesn't need any action unless it was blatant.

I also agree. I was kind of excited to start playing on our jail server but every time I play it's either some ct's dont understand/dont care about the orders or the Warden is unclear and the t's dont have time to type a question before an eager ct decided to shoot your face off for "not listening". I don't know how you would fix it though :/

What?! I've been shooting stacks for months thinking it healed. But anyway.. No offense but jail isn't what it is. People dont play it anymore and it's not just on our server. No offense to people thatcare younger because there are some amazing younger wardens in eGO. But to me, if jail gets a younger ct and they want to be warden everyone kind of freaks out. Some people are good at warden and others are not. And ten others just don't understand the rules. And when we get bad wardens the server will start to empty out. It seems that we need some better wardens with good game ideas. That do get most of the t team free killed ecause of orders that no one could understand or comprehend. That's just my input though, do if you have a mic and good ideas please try warden :D

This and also what Panda says.

The freekilling is getting ridiculous and its because there is simply no punishment.

And sometimes you are just going to have to be a jerk and not allow some of these (usually young kids) that dont know the rules be warden. It is KILLING the server. Nothing things the Jail server faster than bad wardens.

remember when wardens had to be creative....

yep, that is when jail was fun. now it is eh

STEVE MORNING!

These past months have been horrible (on jail).

These are my issues:

  • Too. Much. Freekilling. / CTs "not paying attention"
  • Overuse of old expired memes :X
  • People love to be annoying and mic spam.
  • A lot of fun games were banned.
  • New maps: they are cool, but the old, original ones were amazing.
  • Our rabbling friends are gone/moved onto other games.
  • Ric is afk.
  • And so am I.

Where's jail from a year ago?

Well, I still find Jail fun the odd time when i'm bored and have nothing to do.. I know no one likes getting freekilled and no one likes dying for no reason.. but things happen on the server guys.. we can't stop them from not doing it, its just if they do it they get punished. If you get freekilled you shouldn't be sitting there in chat complaining the whole time which I have seen happen.. if eGO members are sitting there complaining about getting freekilled it looks bad on us. If this does happen just use send a message to admins and say who you got freekilled by or just leave a simple message saying you got freekilled and we'll do our best to look into it. You guys may think its easy for us to catch problems easy, which it is.. but some of it is sort of hard work to.

Now, reading all of these replies from people in this thread I see a lot of "Jail isn't what it was like way back" well I like it the way it is now. Some games are banned because it was unfair. Would you rather have someone asking a rather annoying question and killing 3/4ths of the T team or would you rather just follow orders and play basic games where your half your team isn't killed 1 min in the round?

People are entitled to their own opinion.. if we have 10-12 year old wardens thats fine by me, as long as the server isn't dying and everyone is having fun and having a good time. eGO is all about fun, cmon guys don't be so down it's just jail.

I agree with mouse. I dont get mad if Im freekilled every now and then but sometimes it does go too far & completely ruins the game for the T's

It is annoying when I get freekilled when I am following orders EG: warden says " give up you gun for ST" not only did I type in that I had the gun, I typed it in caps lock MULTIPLE times, shot the entire round into the air and dropped it. Gees what. I the warden and the CT's didn't still did not notice

Accidental Deaths
There are instances where you will find yourself killed without having committed a crime to make yourself wanted. It is inevitable that a guard will make a mistake, such accidental killings are unavoidable. If this happens to you--remain calm and understand that you are playing a video game and will have an opportunity to play again next round. There are always admins playing on the Jail Server, and they will carefully monitor kills to ensure that unjust slayings are kept to a minimum. Do not complain if you are accidentally killed, you exacerbate the situation beyond its triviality and such poor sportsmanship can lead to disciplinary action. If you feel that a guard has deliberately and blatantly eliminated you without reason, you can bring this to the attention of the admins by mentioning it once in admin chat. Further complaining or public griping will be treated as spam. The admins are trained to differentiate between griefing and accidents, trust their judgment.

Like the Jail rules say, there WILL be times where you get freekilled. It also mentions not to complain, since its simply a game.

When im usually a CT, and I see a T not doing the current objective, I ask the warden if he is ST or not.

Sometimes, CT's kindve Panic, and if you get to close, they might shoot you. If you want to knife them, knife them when they arn't knowing it.

Hope I helped!

lol.

This is how you solve this:

Warden says "Do not shoot them unless I specifically order so or if they have positively rebelled, not just moved an inch."

Remember, Warden is in command of the Guards, they work for the Warden. If the Guards do not listen to the Warden's direction, the Guards may have themselves on the Prisoner side. A lot of Guards have a mentality of "I am a Guard, I have no commander." No, you do, you just choose to ruin the role playing experience and upset people.

Use authority, command your Guards. If they fail to abide by your direct order, ask an admin(Ric, when he's on.) to remove the player from the Guard team, as she/he is not fit enough for his/her position.

Admins must follow present rules too. I don't really agree with the "Unless they kill the admins themselves." Admin trainers train the admins to enforce the rules with leniency and without emotion. That means, if a new player killed an admin for the first time, the admin is supposed to let it slide, as mistakes happen. Obviously, no union is perfect, and we all make mistakes. Someone's new, someone's from a different division, or whatever it may be. But, if you notice the same admin revoking everyone on a first freekill basis, you definitely need to let admin trainers or Leadership know.

What if you join the server, and there's this guy who's freekilled 4 people before you joined, happens to kill an admin, and gets revoked for it. Always think of it from both point of views, that comment really hurts my feelings.

If you find yourself in a situation where no admins will listen to you, and there's still that one guy/girl ruining the efficiency of Jail, leave me a note. I'll make sure it gets handled in the proper way. Remember, never get mad in a server, just disconnect. I don't want anyone banned from Jail, ever. :P

I dont play jail much anymore at all because of all the freekilling and lack of authority when i quit it was bad people would freekill 5 rounds in a row before anything would be said. See i understand a new player comes into the server and makes the mistake but pay attention you will find it is more so the people that have been playing on the server that know the rules doing it, i started playing office because of cts being trigger happy, it is like everyone joins jail to kill the ts because they are unarmed and it makes them think they are a bad ass especially when you get people that to me if you have 40 kills in jail that just isnt right, i noticed it alot when i quit playing jail its not just pubs it def eGO members as well..

My suggestion for you all complaining about freekills come play office with me :)
