Battlefield 3 System Requirements

Not as High as I thought they were going to be. Buying 4gb of ram friday and gonna buy a 6770 eventually.

Ya I think they were able to optomize it greatly when they took out dx9 necro support. Dx9 was a poorly coded release.

Do you guys think i can maxed it out on 1680X1050 with my system???

AMD X4 965 black edition ( 4X3.4Ghz )
8GB DDR 3 (1600Mhz)
GTX 570 OC (MSI twin fronzen)

Pls give a comment:)

You should definitely be able to run it on medium settings, perhaps even high.

Uh oh.. my specs are nowhere near that.. looks like I have to run on Medium until I upgrade. :(

I spent a fortune on my pc, so high/ultra for all games the next 2-3 years! :D

Sorry folks, I was already planning on getting it for the xbox anyways :(

On the plus side that means my specs check out :)

Anyone know if my laptop can handle this game?

8GB DDR3-1333Mhz
Nvidia Geforce GT540M
Intel core i7 2.0Ghz

Blackbird, you're laptop will be fine. It beats the minimum, but recommended, GPU is on the low end. But you can play it (just not in full graphics glory)

Dang, I only meet the recommended specs on OS and RAM (and obviously HDD space).

I'm sure it'll look amazing anyway though.

I'm running a C2D @ 2.66GHz w/ a GTX 285. Feel my pain. :facewall:

Hey look, I meet all the minimum requirements...except for 10gb of free space. My HDD is the only thing I haven't upgraded in all the years I've been using this PC. Only 232 GB total space, and I have no idea where all of it goes. After installing Windows 7, it kind of sank far below that.
At least I meet recommended OS, Processor, and RAM.

[Edit]
Wow. I could make a really significant upgrade to my hard drive for only the price of this game. Going to do that some time in the next few months...

Hmm, I can handle this right now, but I'm still going to use this game as a excuse to buy a new computer.

Although these specs are not official, they are problably pretty accurate.

Anyways an i5-750, 4Gigs of ram, and a 560Ti can problably handle it pretty well. :)

Hey guys, getting this build soon. Can it handle BF3 on Medium settings 1680 x 1050?

Alrighty, I was curious if I can run this when it's released:

Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Athlon II x4 630 2.8Ghz
Radeon HD 6870
2 GB of RAM (Hoping to upgrade to 6-8 soon..)

I can run BC2 at 60-70fps maxed out in 1080p. Will I be able to run this in 1080p? Please respond! ;)
