Kirotan, I understand where you were coming from, and I'm definitely glad to have you around. BF3 will be make for a pretty exciting year in the division. :]
For everyone commenting on it: This isn't a debate about HC vs. Regular. I understand that our community doesn't have much to offer our members that prefer Regular mode, but you must understand that in the past we have tried every possible combination to try to find what works.
There are a handle of members that love Regular, but so many pubbers prefer HC that it is hard to keep the Regular servers going, especially on a rotation. Unfortunately, having 10 members who prefer Regular is not enough to keep a server going. I'd love to have at least one server that each members LOVES, but it's not economically feasible nor prudent. We don't have the member-base nor pub-base to support additional servers at this time.
Shorty was trying to point out the fact that we need to work on this and get more support before we work on other servers. I think you'll find that just because we're recruiting from HC servers doesn't mean that many of them don't enjoy regular as well.
Keep our server full, keep recruiting, and we will have a good case for getting another server.
I removed all of your posts as Leftenent stated quite clearly to keep things on task.
I wish I didn't have to write all of this, but you need to understand that leadership, our members, and our community understand that you really would like a Regular Mode server. If we could make it happen, we would. Continuously stating that you want this will not change anything. There are too many factors in play at this time.
I'm sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but this is how it is for the time being. Keep working hard, show support for the community, bring in more members, keep our servers going, and down the road..hopefully we can make a compelling case towards getting another server.
This isn't all about rankings...and we would like to do what our members like...but it needs to have the support from everyone before it can happen.
