?ber Update.

I knew that every class was gonna get something, this has truly been an unusual update.

cept engineer but this is gonna be awesome.

Im glad that the pyro got anything thats not a melee weapon, and a secondary weapons great, i might actually have to use this flare :D

I'll be using it, mainly for luls- it should let you flare jump (think rocket jump). Sadly its no where near as powerful as the normal flaregun (only minicrits not full crits burning targets- least on the beta version), but it'll be a sweet toy. If the flare has no arming timer, I may keep it as a permanent part of my loadout- that should let me kill other pyros well enough.

Detonator. Flaregun that shoots explosive flares- you can explode them using alt fire (mouse 2), and they do explosive damage and ignite everyone in the radius.

In the beta you were able to "flare jump" with it. Hopefully we still will be able to.

Wonder if when you detonate the flare if it sets everything in a small radius on fire, now that would be cool.

I can't even sign in. :(

Finally in! Now if only TF2 would load. I have three refined ready to try and make a low number hat.

Speaking of hats, I wonder what the Premium (ie owned the game pre-F2P) hat will be...

Anywho, medic stuff:

The Quick Fix (Secondary)
Medigun Prototype
UberCharge increases healing by 300% and grants
immunity to movement impairing effects
+40% heal rate
+25% Ubercharge rate
Move at the speed of any faster heal target

Can't over-heal

The Solemn vow (Melee)
Bust of Hippocrates
Allows the wielder to see enemy health

The Overdose (Primary)
Syringe Gun Prototype
Movement speed bonus based on
Ubercharge percentage - to a maximum of +10%

-10% damage

My take:
Overdose is a straight upgrade from the syringe gun, as long as the medic isn't a 'battle' medic.
The Solemn Vow is worth it if the medic and the patient are on the same page. Otherwise, pass.

The Quick Fix... hmm. On a 5CP map like Mesa, it means a medic can pair up with a scout to haul tush to L/C and cap it faster.
The Uber (which needs a new name... Trix?) is mainly useful if you're launching a full on assault with several players, or if your with a Heavy, since the 3x healing rate makes the Heavy effectively invulnerable.

I think its pretty well balanced, leaning towards slightly OP.

If you play with the Saharan spy set you get used to the .5 second cloaking time, Play with the Saharan spy set and it teaches you a lot of new spy tactics seeing as you can't disguise until you stab someone.

So how is TF2 going to continue? Further updates coming? Or just bug fixes and balancing?

I am positive they have made 10x more money through the Mann Store than game sales itself ever since the Mann Store opened.

So, I briefly logged in, and saw players using new weps. I am assuming the craft blueprints are up, but I couldn't connect to the server. The blueprints are not on the TF2 official wiki yet, either...

So, can someone who can connect to the item server give us the lowdown on what it takes to make the new weps?
