So, my dad found this computer faster runner software, thats free, and works pretty good. I reccomend everyone try it out! Also, at the end where you keep repairing and scanning, after a repair, just close the software. Here is the download link.

Please make sure you do a restore point before using this. I've seen it hose people's internet connection and/or how their browser behaves. It can be pretty frustrating.

I would make a definite system restore point and make sure you read up before you use this product. A simple click can "screw your PC over really quick".

Make sure you make a backup/shadow copy. I've never heard of this software, my favorites are iolo System Mechanic, Crap Cleaner, and Glary Utilities.

If it asks you to clean the registry, check every single thing it wants to try to fix before clicking the OK button. If you don't do that you could seriously screw over your computer.

services.

Comodo System-Cleaner, Glary Utilities or Ashampoo
WinOptimizer 2010 is just great when used on a weekly basis.


Just as the above posters said, create a system backup/restore-point before
messing with any registry-cleaner or tune-up utility.

hmm i use Advanced System Care quiet a lot and its doesn't do that great of a job, can i get some recommendations on other programs please?

7558 <---- thats the number of bad registry entrys Cclearner/Registry Fix did not fix, over a couple years span

7558<---- the number of entrys ASC repaired. no blue screens, freezes, PC runs good
