an interesting update from Microsoft. possible fix for freezeing during games.

Ive installed the hotfix.. no issues as of yet.

Update ---

I have had 0 freezes since this patch.... played TF2 for a few hours without freezing .... I believe this patch is a fix for a messed up update.

anyway, it fixed the issue.

edit: other than a lag spike now and then (it is steam after all), I have had no freezes ingame at all today(about 7 hours of game play).

games run fine..... but some of my issues was a failing HDD that I was using for virtual memory.

disabled the HDD and Im running 100% again.
