Record-shattering player counts!

You're hearin' it here first, folks. Team Fortress 2 would hit maybe about 25,000-30,000 players during a big update, and would otherwise rest around the 20,000 mark during peak hours.

Currently, Team Fortress 2 has over 100,000 players active.

Yes, that's a lot.

im loving this. i picked a good time to start playing again and switch divisions servers are always active whenever i check. though it is annoying having to wait sometimes. haha.


@soan, im guessing itll slowly die down, but nothing can beat a free fps as good as this one.

It's great until your medic doesn't know that mouse 2 activates that charge he's been holding for 3 minutes =P
But honestly it's great to have all the servers full. I'd rather wait 5 minutes to join a full server than try to start up an empty one.

yea this is GREAT!! I love the full server and the newbies are so cute!!

I saw one as a spy trying to shoot a level 3 sentry with the revolver, he was sneaking around two other newbie engys for a good two minutes or so. Made me lol hard XD You guys should have seen it
